Ryan Hinkamper was born and raised here in Quincy in 1979. He took interest in politics at a young age when his dad Ronald Hinkamper ran for City Council, and later when Ronald ran, and was elected to County Board District 2 where he served for 8 years. 

Since then Ryan Hinkamper lived in the St. Louis area for a short time where he attended ITT Technical institute, and earned an Associate’s Degree in computers and electronics engineering. During this time Ryan married to Sarah (Haxel), and they now have three children (Rylee, Reagan, and Reese). Ryan came back home to Quincy in 2005, and purchased his boyhood home on North Tenth Street choosing to raise the next generation where he grew up.

Mr. Hinkamper is currently a Network Engineer. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends enjoying outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and camping. Ryan has devoted time in the past assisting the local area Boy Scouts, and children’s sports teams. Ryan is a passionate Constitutionalist, and enjoys reading about American history and application of Constitutional law.
